Summary
The 14 photographs in the exhibition "DÉCHIRURES" ("TEARS") were taken in the Parisian subway during the renovation of "Champs-Élysées Clémenceau" station in 2005. The workers were tearing to shreds posters (accumulated in layers over the years) when the camera froze this moment. In the same way, by superimposing texts of different French writters and after lacerating them by means of a sharp pen, a new text emerged; its 14 fragments spontaneously paired with the 14 photographs.
